On 22 December 2014 His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet arrived in Gaden Monastery, Mundgod Tibetan Settlement, to bestow the 2014 Jangchup Lamrim Teachings.
His Holiness was received by H.H. Gaden Tripa Rinpoche, Sharpa Choeje Rinpoche, Jangtse Choeje Rinpoche, H.E. Ling Rinpoche, Abbots, Ex-Abbots, High Lamas, Tibetan, Indian and Foreign Dignitaries, and Representatives of the Jangchup Lamrim Committee. The traditional Welcoming Ceremony was conducted inside of Gaden Jangtse Prayer Hall (venue for the 2014 Jangchup Lamrim Teachings) while traditional songs and dances were performed outside.
